Here is my motivation, the reason that I do everything that I do.

Mom

My mum was born in England, and was a housewife choosing to stay home and rear me. My dad was an electrical engineer with British Leyland, you know, they make the Range Rovers and other such wonderful cars!  He use to train apprentices to do what he did, and one day, much to his frustration, one of those apprentices, when I was only eleven years old but going on twenty one, left a great big massive Valentine's card under Dad's windshield wiper for me!
It read, "To Baby Jumbo," my dad's nickname given to him by his apprentices was Jumbo, "From a member of the 403 gang!"  My dad was not happy that one of his apprentices was potentially pursuing his little girl!?
From that day on, my nickname became, much to my embarrassment, "Baby Jumbo!"

Both My Mother & Father Were Major Positive Influences in my Life

My dad was also born in England, and he was loved by everyone.  He was always so jolly and happy, he loved people and they loved him.  He would laugh and joke with anyone and everyone, and he would talk to anyone and everyone often times starting conversations with people that he came into contact with on any given day.  His morals and values were impeccable, he never showed any prejudice towards anyone, and even though I grew up not wanting for anything, amonst fine British Leyland Cars, a Mercedez Convertible with a car phone when they were just an anticipated dream of the future, my father would not hear of us being class conscious in any way whatsoever.  I was his little girl who, because of growing up side by side with my best friend, and self adopted brother, Kevin, I was determined to be a tom boy!  My father, as I headed for my teenage years attempted to change that by sending me to a "Young Laides Training School," in Kilvrough, Wales, without success, and then to another, "Young Laides Finishing School," in Bath England, again, without success at the time!  However, I've since adopted some of those strategies in later life where my business is concerned and am not such a tomboy as I was back then!  I will always dearly miss my mother and my father.

GOD'S LITTLE MIRACLE GIFTS TO ME AND THE WORLD!

In previous years, through divorce, and one thing and another, the children and I have been through, and continue to go through even now, some hard times emotionally, and in the past, financially.  Nonetheless, people tell us, such experiences do build character.  My response is such that I tell them, "Well thank you, but, I think I've built all the character I need thank you!"
In any event, we have learned many things from the trials and storms that we have come through and continue to battle with.  God has a plan for everyone, and I beleive that everything happens for a reason.

Other Relatives

I have some nephews over in England, two I have not seen in a long time, and the baby one, Darren, I do keep in touch with.  Darren, especially, like myself, was really hard hit at the loss of his nan and my mother.  We serve to be supportive of each other, and I try to tell him to come and be with us, but, at this point in time, he won't listen.  Nonetheless, we call him every now and again.  Maybe, before too long, maybe my children and I can go back there and visit soon.
